Thinking About Flipping Your Classroom?

One of our first blog entries last year was about flipping the classroom. This is an instructional methodology that involves providing electronic instructional materials, such as videos, for students to access outside of the classroom before class, and then class time is used for group activities, discussions, and time for students to work with the assistance of their instructor. The flip is that traditional class work becomes homework, and traditional homework is done in class. This idea is not going away... it's building a lot of momentum and gaining a great amount of attention.  He's another new article on flipping the classroom that shows how the idea is taking flight in K12 education.
